As for each PCB swap, it is necessary to transfer the data of your BIOS chips
You may send me your Hard Drive and your new PCB so that I can do the transfer.
This transfer would be done by flashing and/or soldering.
If you have ordered your “new” PCB with me, I’ll await the arrival of your hard drive and your new pcb to do the transfer.
In addition to this service, I’ll check whether your old PCB can be fixed, if so, I’ll try to repairit. The lucky ones will then have two working PCBs.
Avoir le disque dur va me permettre de tester le résultat des manipulations effectuées.
Having your Hard drive will let me test the result of my manipulations.
You’ll find the expeditory address at the bottom of this page.
Return fees included
Important — customized service and no guarantee of result: this service concerns work on the hard drive PCB and/or BIOS/ROM chip. It is performed with a duty of care, but without any guarantee that the hard drive will spin up, be detected by a computer, or that data will be accessible or recoverable.
If the initial fault is actually PCB-related, the intervention may allow temporary access to the drive in order to copy the data to a healthy device. However, if the fault comes from the heads, motor, preamplifier, platters, internal firmware or another internal defect, the drive may remain inaccessible even if the PCB/BIOS work is correctly performed.
BIOS/ROM transfer, chip programming or PCB adaptation is a customized service performed at the customer's request. Once the intervention has started or has been completed, the customized service part cannot be cancelled under the right of withdrawal.
